Michael Oher, the main character played by Quinton Aaron in the movie Blind Side, struggles with a low IQ stemming from a background . One day, when Michael was walking to the school gym nearby to sleep for the night, he was spotted by the Tuohy family. Leigh Anne, who has a very warm-hearted woman, insisted her husband, Sean, to bring Michael over to their home for the night.
After realizing that Michael’s parents are unable to support him, the Tuohy family decides to legally adopt Michael as their son. With this opportunity, Michael starts to attend a private school with his adopted sister, Collins, and his adopted brother, S.J. However, Michael, being a gentle soul , could not tackle down opposing players. The coach was contemplating what to do about Michael, when there was a big car accident with Michael and S.J. in it. When Leigh Anne came to check on the kids if they were alright, she realized that S.J. wasn’t really hurt at all and saw that Michael’s arm was badly injured protecting S.J. From the car accident, Leigh Anne learned that Michael has a very high protective instinct and told the coach to change Michael’s position to a defensive one.
The day of the first game came and everyone was excited except Michael. He was too nervous and didn’t know what to do. The first few plays were ruined because of Michael and that made him more down. That’s when S.J. stepped in and told Michael what to do. After the time-out, Michael was a whole different person and led the team to a victory. That game started to change Michael’s life and a lot of college scouts began contacting Michael about scholarships. However, an event that could ruin Michael and the Tuohy family’s life occurs when the government makes a call to their phone…
